Textures from the Forest Textile art exhibition 2011

Hi to all.
Sharing with you my latest video from the exhibit recently opened. The show will run until the 28 of June.

I have been exploring some installation ideas, especially because the exhibit was suggested to be part of the UN International year of forests. It has been interesting working outside the loom for a while in a 3-D space. Some have inside tapestry weaving with exposed warps....anyway. I will keep up my own explorations and findings.
The Installations where made possible to the Grant from the Ontario Arts council Mid-Career Visual Arts Recognition 2011.
It is really exciting to have support for us, artists, in creative moments of our careers.
